Only 2 % of the romanian country are
karst areas (have a look on the white map under this text!). But the
romanian karst is very good!. Humpleu Cave is about 50 km long and
a good example. The most caves are very well decorated. Helictites
are in some caves to see. Thats not normal at caves with only 5-6
C° temperature. Very nice caves are: Piatra Altarului, Pestera
Rece, Micula Cave, Cetatile Ponorului and others. But the most of
the best Caves are looked! Nice show caves are Pestera Ursilor and
Meziad Cave. The landscape of romania is beautiful, too! And there
are animals like wolfes, bears in the mountains!
